1. Who We Are
Buzdolabı Şefi is a mobile app developed and operated by Dode Yazılım. It helps you discover what you can cook with the ingredients in your fridge, generate recipes, and reduce food waste.

2. What We Collect
To provide the app, we collect and process certain data:
Account & authentication
- Your email address and a user id. You sign in using an email one-time code, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In.
App data stored in your account
- your fridge ingredients,
- generated and saved recipes,
- your cooking history,
- your daily AI-usage quota,
- your subscription status.
Camera & photo data
- Fridge / product photos you take for ingredient recognition,
- product barcodes you scan.
Technical & diagnostic data
- Crash reports and device / OS information (no advertising identifiers),
- anonymous / aggregate usage events that may be used to improve the app.
3. How & Why We Process Data
- To create your account and sign you in, using your email and user id.
- To generate recipes and recognize ingredients from photos, we send the ingredient names you enter and the photos you take to our AI provider via our secure backend.
- To look up product information by barcode using a public database.
- To manage your subscription and determine your access to premium features.
- To keep the app stable and fix bugs, using crash and diagnostic data.
- To improve the app, anonymous/aggregate usage analytics may be used.
4. Third-Party Processors
We work with the following trusted service providers, each processing only the data needed for the stated purpose:

5. No Ads, No Tracking
- No ads are shown in the app.
- No behavioral or advertising tracking.
- No IDFA / advertising ID (ad-ID) is collected or used.
- We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data Location
Your account data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure in the European Union (EU) region. Some processing — AI (OpenAI), barcode lookup (Open Food Facts), crash reporting (Sentry), and analytics (PostHog) — may take place on the respective provider's servers; such transfers occur only to provide the service and with appropriate safeguards.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account and app data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted (see Section 9). Photos are processed transiently for ingredient recognition and are not retained for other purposes. Crash and analytics data are kept for a limited period to improve the app.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK, you have the right to:
- access your data,
- request correction of inaccurate data,
- request deletion of your data,
- export your data.
To exercise these rights, use the in-app options or email [email protected].
9. Account & Data Deletion
The in-app “Delete My Account” (Hesabımı Sil) option permanently deletes your account and all associated data (including ingredients, recipes, history, quota and subscription records). You can also use “Export My Data” (Verilerimi Dışa Aktar) to obtain a copy of your data.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data sent for AI processing is routed through our secure backend and transfers are encrypted. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your data.
11. Children
Buzdolabı Şefi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and notify you in-app where appropriate.

1. The Service
Buzdolabı Şefi, provided by Dode Yazılım, is a mobile app that generates AI-powered recipe suggestions from the ingredients in your fridge, recognizes ingredients from photos, and helps you reduce food waste.
2. Account & Eligibility
- Some features require you to create an account (email one-time code, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In).
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. AI Content & Food Safety
Recipes and ingredient-recognition results are automatically generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
Use your own judgment before following any recipe. You are responsible for matters of food allergies, expiry dates, food safety and hygiene. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional.
AI output is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, or professional advice.
4. Subscriptions & Purchases
- The app may offer a paid subscription for access to premium features.
- Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play; payments are charged to your store account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store / Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the relevant store (Apple / Google).
Daily AI usage may be subject to a usage quota to prevent abuse and maintain service quality.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the app, you agree not to:
- use it for unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing purposes,
- attempt to damage, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service, servers, or infrastructure,
- reverse engineer, abuse, or place excessive automated load on the app,
- enter inappropriate, misleading, or offensive content.
6. Intellectual Property
The app, its design, brand, and content belong to Dode Yazılım and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dode Yazılım is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app (including food loss, allergic reactions, or decisions based on AI output).
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may also permanently delete your account and data at any time via the in-app “Delete My Account” option.
9. Privacy
How we process your data is described in our Privacy Policy above. By using the app, you also accept that policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify you where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
